Librelist.com, Lamson 1.0pre1 Soon
That microturfing.com was fun, but that’s not code. That’s just a tiny little diversion from my usual hacking activities. And since it’s not code, it doesn’t deserve being on any code related sites. Shame on you guys. Well, you also posted the original marketroid site that had nothing to do with code, so I’m not sure why people are bitching.
Anyway, about code now.
What I’ve really been working on is the soon to come Lamson 1.0pre1 release. I’m going to try my hardest to get it out by tomorrow night. I mostly just have to scrub the code and write some docs, since I’ve been using it to actually build yet another example of how to use Lamson: librelist.com.
Lamson’s now getting to where I can crank out most anything you want to do with email, and integrate it with all of the major Python web frameworks that exist. Librelist is interesting because it uses Django as the data model and storage system. This is nice because I can use Django’s admin to manage the state.
Best of all, the entire code to librelist is in the Lamson source as an example. All GPL and ready to use.
Tomorrow I’ll gather the feature list, but until then, try out librelist.com and let me know how it works for you.
Until then.
